From Heber Valley along the Provo River one can catch some great views of the back of the Wasatch Mountains. Using mixes of blues and yellows I tried to capture the vivid mid summer greens. A afternoon storm rolls in as I paint, changing shadows and values. Painted in plein air, this original one of a kind oil painting is on a small board in the mint tin used as pallet and easel. Painting, pallet and tin all included for beautiful display.
